On-line lockdown

One thing we have plenty of right now is TIME! So try to use it wisely.

Exercise as we know is important for many reasons. Lockdown has seen an influx of free on-line classes and video routines to suit all ages and levels. Take advantage of them to keep up what may have been a regular gym fix or better still to start exercising if you did not before.

Joe Wicks provides a PE lesson every weekday at 9am which is followed by all ages. He has broken YouTube records for his great efforts in keeping the nation moving. Plus having raised a staggering £91K to date for the NHS. Go Joe!

Davina McCall has a great website – Own Your Goals Davina – that offers an array of advice on health, nutrition and fitness where you can tailor a workout plan to suit yourself. You can try a free trial period.

Puregym has a website that has lots of free videos whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced.

If you do choose a couch potato day then that is covered too. Box set binging is bigger than ever. Netflix has had to reduce streaming quality to keep up with the demand of downloads.
We have so much choice of platforms to view – Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky to name a few.
Terrestrial TV also offers more than ever before, catch-up if you missed something. This is the age of ‘watch it when I want’.
